Hoje é a vez de ser apresentada, aqui no Blog, a coleção intitulada “Life and fate of the American Indians” de propriedade do filatelista temático alemão e jurado FIP Wolf Hess.

Trata-se de um trabalho muito bem concebido, que tem um desenvolvimento e tratamento temático soberbo, contando com diversas peças de elevada raridade.

Esta coleção foi exposta, pela última vez em Nova York-2016, versão que apresentamos nesta postagem (inclusive com os certificado de espertização de algumas peças). Em setembro último a mesma apareceu listada no leilão número 75 realizado por “Schuyler J. Rumsey Philatelic”, empresa filatélica sediada em São Francisco, Califórnia, merecendo a seguinte descrição no catálogo do leiloeiro:
